El sello del minimalismo de la Costa Oeste, fundado por el compositor Jim Fox a comienzos de los 80. Su primera era en vinilo cerró hacia 1985, cuando sus distribuidores quebraron justo con la llegada del CD; Fox lo reactivó en diciembre de 2000 y desde entonces editó varias docenas de discos. Es un minimalismo que roza el ambient y lo ritual —música quieta, contemplativa, pensada para escucha íntima—, con John Luther Adams, Peter Garland, James Tenney, Chas Smith y Michael Jon Fink. La cara pausada y luminosa de la vanguardia californiana.
