En el año 2000, dos estudiantes en Edimburgo crearon Delphian para registrar lo que Londres ignoraba. El sello se volvió el refugio de la música de cámara, el canto coral y la creación contemporánea en Escocia. El secreto de su catálogo, que va desde polifonía antigua hasta experimentos con gaitas, está en el control: graban, editan y diseñan todo de forma interna. No buscan la solemnidad del museo, sino capturar la acústica viva de templos y salas vacías. La música clásica también se piensa desde los márgenes.
