Fundado en 1990 en New York como división especializada en reediciones y catálogo histórico de Columbia Records. Opera como el brazo archivístico de Sony Music, dedicado a preservar y remasterizar el extenso legado de Columbia desde 1887. Ha relanzado material fundamental de Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Johnny Cash y Barbra Streisand, entre otros gigantes del catálogo. Su trabajo curatorial y técnico ha sido clave para mantener accesible décadas de música americana.
