Cuando Warner canceló el monumental proyecto de Ton Koopman de grabar las cantatas de Bach a mitad de camino, Challenge Classics le abrió las puertas. Koopman fundó su propio sello bajo este paraguas holandés y completó la hazaña en sesenta y siete discos. Esa es la mística de Challenge: un refugio de resistencia para intérpretes que necesitan tiempo y control absoluto de su obra.
