Morten Lindberg fundó 2L en Oslo en 2001 con una obsesión física: que el oyente no escuche desde la platea, sino desde el centro de la orquesta. Para lograrlo, graba en iglesias de la campiña noruega disponiendo a los músicos en círculo alrededor de micrófonos omnidireccionales de alta tecnología. El disco Immortal Nystedt de Ensemble 96, nominado al Grammy en 2006, demostró que la música coral podía sonar con una tridimensionalidad inédita. No es un sello para nostálgicos del vinilo, sino un laboratorio acústico que redefine cómo experimentamos el espacio y el silencio.
