Marcel Dupré

French organist, pianist, composer, and pedagogue (born Rouen, Normandy, 3 May 1886; died Meudon, near Paris, 30 May 1971). After World War I, Dupré rapidly established his reputation as a concert artist following his performance (from memory!) of the complete organ works of Bach in a series of recitals in Paris.
