Sean Stewart

Sean Stewart (February 6, 1981 – March 18, 2010) was an Australian musician from Melbourne’s north‑western suburbs. He co‑founded Hate Rock (HTRK) in 2003 with Nigel Yang, soon joined by Jonnine Standish. Stewart contributed minimal bass lines, drum‑machine rhythms, and post‑industrial textures that shaped the band’s distinctive sound. He took his own life in London in March 2010.
