Tomás Ramírez

Austin, Texas saxophonist. Tomas Ramirez, a native of South Texas, was born in Falfurrias “home of the butter”, which may explain his "smooth like butter" tone and phrasing style. Tomas studied jazz and jazz composition at the University of Texas at Austin with Dick Goodwin, leader of the University Lab Bands.
