Heitor Villa-Lobos

Brazilian composer, conductor, cellist, and classical guitarist. He's been described as "the single most significant creative figure in 20th-century Brazilian art music". Villa-Lobos wrote numerous orchestral, chamber, instrumental and vocal works and is one of the best-known South American composer of all times. Early in life, he learned to play the cello, clarinet, and classical guitar.
