Belford Hendricks

American composer, arranger, pianist, conductor and producer. Most active during the 1950s and 1960s, Hendricks has collaborated with artists such as Nat King Cole, Count Basie, Dinah Washington, Aretha Franklin and Sarah Vaughan. As a songwriter he often teamed up with Clyde Otis and Brook Benton. Among their best known compositions are Looking Back (1958) and It's Just A Matter Of Time (1959).
