The countertenor / alto vocalist Matthias Lucht first studied Viola at the University of Music in Mannheim. After a while he started his singing studies with Gerd Türk. A scholarship of the DAAD (german akademic exchange service) enabled him to continue his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Howard Crook and Udo Reinemann.
