British conceptual artist (b. March 1949, Worcester, England). John Stezaker was among the first wave of British conceptualists that reacted against the predominant "Pop art" in the early 1970s. His surrealistic works often utilize collage techniques, re-appropriating found images: postcards, film stills, publicity photos, etc.
