Dorothy Donegan

American jazz pianist. She was a flamboyant virtuoso who enjoyed mixing many different songs into medleys, demonstrating her technique and even visited clubs with Art Tatum, who enjoyed pitting her against pianists who wanted to get into a cutting contest with him, as he enjoyed watching her devour the competition.
