Rube Bloom

American composer and pianist and author. Inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1982. He charted as a songwriter thirty times in the U.S. and twice in the U.K. between 1930-1976 including four #1 songs: "The Man from the South" by Ted Weems and His Orchestra (1930)
