Dutch trombonist, born: April 6, 1945, Haarlem, The Netherlands. Son of Cor van Lier (2), older brother of Bart Van Lier. Teaches bass trombone at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Currently he is playing with the Peter Herbolzheimer big band and 'Bart’s Bones', the trombone quartet of his brother.
