American pianist, organist, arranger and songwriter. Brother of organist Eddie Buster. The brothers were especially known for playing the Hammond B-3 organ, and were some of the first to do so in jazz. Buster played piano in The Shadows (17). He also had an instrumental group that was called "The Five Sharps", a four-piece combo consisting of piano, saxophone, bass and drums.
