Louis Moholo

South African jazz drummer. In exile from 1964, as the Blue Notes, which included the white musician Chris McGregor, found it near impossible to perform under apartheid. The group performed at that year's Antibes Jazz Festival in Juan-les-Pins, France. Returned to South Africa in 2005 when he became known as Louis Moholo-Moholo.
