Philadelphia-born producer, arranger and orchestra conductor and songwriter (born January 16, 1930, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; died December 15, 2020). Active from the 1960s to present, with many productions for Gamble & Huff acts. In collaboration with producer Jacques Morali, he established the disco recording group The Ritchie Family in 1975.
