Porl Thompson

Multi-instrumentalist and visual artist, born 8 November 1957, Wimbledon, south London. Thompson first collaborated with Robert Smith as a member of the band known as Malice (1976) and later Easy Cure (1977–78). Following Thompson's departure in April 1978, the group was renamed The Cure. The first Cure-related release to feature Thompson was the 1979 Cult Hero single [m=43984].
