Henry Grimes

American jazz bassist. After performing with many prominent musicians for a decade, Grimes disappeared from the music scene in the mid-1960's. He was often presumed dead, but was rediscovered in 2002 by Marshall Marrotte, a social worker and jazz fan, in a small apartment in Los Angeles, California. He had sold his bass long before.
