Keith Tippett

British composer, pianist and educator. Known for embracing jazz in both the composed/arranged big-group tradition, and smaller improvisational groups, as well as venturing into solo piano performances/recordings later in his career. Was leader/co-leader of many groups including Ovary Lodge, Centipede (3), Mujician and others.
