Multi-instrumentalist (woodwinds, percussion, vocals, etc) began his career in 1996 as a musician with the Desco Records label, recording and performing with The Soul Providers (later to become the Dap-Kings). Also founder of the groups Antibalas (inspired by his work with The Daktaris) and Ocote Soul Sounds, and frequent collaborator of TV on the Radio.
