Wiener Symphoniker

This orchestra, claimed as a hand-picked band of American musicians and called the American Recording Society Symphony Orchestra, has since been identified as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra (Wiener Symphoniker). The post-WWII were hard times and orchestras needed money, forcing many orchestras to reform into various and often smaller ad-hoc orchestras and ensembles — according to the need.
