German bassoonist (born 1936, June 6, Hamburg) in the prestigious Münchener Bach-Orchester under Karl Richter, participating in recordings between 1964 and 1974. He is credited as bassoonist on important Bach cantatas and sacred works, including the Johannes-Passion (1964), the Weihnachtsoratorium (1965), and other cantatas such as BWV 28 and BWV 140, recorded at the Herkulessaal in Munich.
