Hal Mooney

American pianist, composer, arranger and record executive. House arranger, A&R and recording director at Mercury Records (1956-1969). Musical director of the Universal Studios (1970-1977). Best known for his extensive arrangement work with Mercury Records artists like Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington and Billy May, from the mid-1950s to the late 1960s.
