Richard Gottehrer

American producer, songwriter and label executive. He began his career in Brill Building. After his early 60's No.1's with The Angels (3)'s "My Boyfriend's Back", McCoys' "Hang On Sloopy" and The Strangeloves' "I Want Candy", he co-founded Sire with Seymour Stein in 1966. He has produced through the years Blondie, Go-Go's, Richard Hell etc.
