Alexandra Dienz

Austrian Volksmusik and classical musician, bass player in Die Knödel. Married to Christof Dienz. At the age of 5, she learned to play the hammered dulcimer from her father Florian Pedarnig, and soon also the double bass, which she studied in Innsbruck and Graz. Also studied piano. Since 1995 she has focused almost exclusively on historical performance practice and contemporary music.
