John Farris

John was born in Pass Christian, MS on January 17, 1941 and was a 1957 graduate of Randolph High School. He began playing the trumpet as a pre-teen. This led him to move to California and pursue a career in music. He played with groups such as Otis Redding, The Temptations, Joe Tex and many others in the Rhythm and Blues music industry. He died in May 2008.
