Xu Fengxia

Chinese sanxian（三弦）, guzheng（古筝）, guqin（古琴）,liuqin（柳琴）, and vocal performer of classical and avant-garde ethnic music, born in Shanghai, China in 1963. Xu Fengxia's creative characteristics are mainly reflected in the fusion of elements from Chinese regional opera language, gong and drum recitations, Mongolian throat singing, Tibetan chanting, and other ethnic musical features with jazz rhythms.
